…and as for the return of kuku. the way things are rolling along, i am hoping the end of the month.

more news and concrete dates when i return from chicago!

cheers,

ramon.

a few words

february has come and gone… and boy am i tired. it’s been not-stop here since about october.

my two marvel books are done and will be hitting the shelves this month;  Captain America And The First Thirteen written by Kathryn Immonen and Deadpool Team-up #883 written by Skottie Young. art chores on both are courtesy of lil’ old me. if you are inclined you can pick them up at your local comic shop!

i wrapped the last page of deadpool 883 last week and took a week off. well, when i say a week off i mean caught up on all the things i’d been pushing aside.

i am currently in the beginning stages of my next project for a small publisher. it’s a bit on the super secret side, but i feel it is the opportunity of a lifetime. it’s a graphic novel that is giving me the opportunity to work with one of my creative inspirations growing up. as soon as i can share more i will.

what does this mean overall?

it means that yes i will be busy, but it also means my schedule will not be in a state of chaos. i have the one project on my plate for the next 6 months, along side my small monthly obligation to owl kids magazine. so while my monday to friday will be devoted to contractual obligations, weekends are mine… for my own projects.

so kukuburi will be restarting very very shortly…. give me a week or two to organise my time and my schedule…

i will try and post weekly updates leading up to the stories relaunch.

thank you all for your patience.

best,

ramon.
