Montréal, je t’aime.

life seems to be going according to plan. a pleasant change that i’m going to run with.

the tenancy hearings are in a holding pattern, if you’re interested in knowing more the local weekly alt/indy paper NOW wrote a few words about the situation.

for those of you who are in or near the montréal area i will be appearing at the montréal comicon this weekend. i’ll only have original art on hand (from my dc comics work) but i will also be doing sketch requests. please swing on by and say hello!

beyond that, my little brain has been percolating with ideas for kukuburi swag. i have some t-shirt designs in the works as well as limited edition prints and possibly stickers. i’ll post ideas up for input but till then let me know what you’d like to see!

i have also been doing a little research into self publishing and starting my own imprint to bring kukuburi, amongst other things, into the printed medium and into your hands. but this is a long term goal – though i am aiming towards spring/summer of 2009!

that’s it for now, see you all next week!

Ooh! Ooh! I wanna Reggie “Zub Zub ZaBRAM!!” sticker I can put on my motorbike!

And good luck with the housing side of things. It’s now sounding fairly hopeful, at least.

Ooh! I love Nadia’s shirt! Any chance of getting one of those??

And the artical looks pretty promising, Ramon – I hope everything goes well!

Great article, that. We’ll keep up the finger-crossing and hoping for a good outcome for you!

Can we have a plushy version of the Ghrungs, the green monster thingys? That would be AWESOME!! We could hug them and squeeze them and love them and snuggle them and call them Bob. *Nods* Though it might be possible that I find this more exciting an idea than most because I collect fluffy toys :P

On a side note I absolutely ADORE your art work and your style of drawing. If I could get what appears in my head down on paper properly I would want it to be in the same style as your artwork. It just sucks me right in, so much emotion and just… I cant put it into words. Suffice to say that I love it.

Just becuase of the way kukuburi is presented here I recommend getting in touch with the dudes that do the PX! comic, they have the same format and their printed edition is stunning.

Super excited for the idea of being able to buy things that involve kukuburi though!!
