hey cj,

i am a novice writer and much of what you see here online is what i consider the first draft of kukuburi. i whole heartedly welcome intelligent comments and criticism. that said i am in total agreement with you and shagbark - this sequence screams at me now and when i go to revise kukuburi for print i will most likely remove all dialogue here or re-edit the sequence entirely. it's a learning process... and one i'm in the middle of and all of you are witness to. i want to make kuku the best experience i can, so i thank you for your input and comments, all will be taken into consideration when i collect the story for print.

cheers :)

I'm totally with shagbark on this one. I started reading this comic maybe almost a year ago now, and really like it, except for some major dialogue issues. When I got to this particular comic, I got totally turned off, and have only now gone back to catch up on all the fantastic art. It just seems to me that you'll either have dialogue so vague it's irritating, or so blunt it's rather unpleasantly screaming in our faces. You need to write for your audience, not for your own seriously intelligent creative thought process or your writer's-block-stricken frustration.

At least your spelling and grammar is decent.

Just know, Ramon, that I say this with all kinds of love, and hope to get all caught up soon. I'm a real fan, I swear.

Hey, just wanted to point out that on the front page it says "The story your about to read..." when it should say "the story you're about to read..." It's the second sentence of the intro.

Love this comic and BNS, btw. The art and colors are spectacular! I can't wait to see what happens next.

Hey guys,

Ramon, nice work so far. I hope you don't object, I've been taking some of my favourite frames/comics and turning them into wallpapers for my own amusement. If you're happy, I was thinking about putting them out for everyone who appreciates your work. I'd appreciate it if you got in touch with me. My email address is attatched with this post.

Cheers
