    ok well.. thats just awesome

  2. Ramón says:

heh, thanks, it ain’t eating babies but it’ll do ;)

  3. Energie o2 says:

I was waiting all day for this to update!! No offense to you, Ramon, the time spent is well appreciated!
I love the dynamic you use in your panels, you must have a great eye for film as well!

It’s shocking that Nadia went and did exactly what He did, since it’s a “bad thing to do” but I totally give props for her reasoning. Considering it’s a link to reality, I’m guessing the “Lil’ Him” represents Him, but is it just me or does it feel Too Easy?

Well, on the same note I hope the battle whale is doing okay…

  4. Ramón says:

i’m trying to catch up so i can have the updates posted on the morning of tuesdays, but i’m juggling so much right now it makes things a little difficult.

sometimes things are easier than suspected, but when you don’t know the rules are you really breaking them?

  5. Che says:

    Shadowrrific!

  6. kristina says:

Wow, I love this page Ramon! and I totally agree…to me it’s not breaking the rules if you don’t know the rules to begin with! I can’t wait to see what happens next! Way to go! SPLENDERRIFIC!!

  7. PattyR says:

Like they say in the movies: Bring it!

Let’s see how the game is played now.

  8. candy says:

RAMON! You don’t know me but man…. YOUR COMIC ROCKS MY WORLD!

  9. Odo says:

Err — Isn’t she in the same location or at least next to it?

Why do I get the feeling that Mr. Skull will now proceed to cheat, or at least declare that the game is void?

And what is going on the Valley of Giants?

    Waiting with bated breath.

BTW, I hope you don’t mind but I put a pointer to Kukuburi in my myspace blog.

  10. Steve says:

That is the best bang I have ever seen. I have been loving this since first read and it never disappoints.

  16. angela says:

i want a t-shirt of the last panel.

    BANG indeed!

  17. Yumadog says:

Dammit, how much is it gonna cost to get this thing DAILY? I don’t wanna wait.

  18. Henry says:

Ramón, firstly I just love this comic.

Also, when I was re-reading it (because it is so brilliant), i noticed that Nadia suddenly grows freckles on page 9. Anyone else see that one?

Anyway, keep up the great work, you always make tuesday worthwhile.

  19. Vitaemachina says:

I agree with Yumadog – I’d make this the first comic I’ve ever donated to if we could get more frequent updates >.>

Truly my favorite one, hands down and bar none.

  20. Sam says:

I think he will look very cute with a flower coming out of his head :D

  21. Lou says:

    Agree with Angela -
    I want that last panel on a t-shirt. :D
    Excellent update.

  22. Ramón says:

    henry,

i did not notice that! i redrew the panel on page 3 that showcases part of nadia’s face and forgot to draw in her freckles! hah, gotta fix that in the print edition ;)

  23. Dune Walker says:

Something about this just bodes… darkly… for me.

All I can imagine in the next strip is the skeleton looking at her with a crestfallen and pained look, slowly saying something quite depressing or remorseful, and anguishingly falling apart or turning to dust.

I dunno about Nadia, but that would freak me out. Suddenly realizing that in my eagerness to best this fellow at what I thought was just a game, I suddenly and unintentionall destroyed him with powers I don’t even understand or am properly able to control.

    ~Dune~

  24. Kayota says:

EEEH. I wasn’t expecting it to stop here, I figured you’d gotten further. -wriggles with anticipation- nnnnnnnooooo.

  25. sunshinegetsmehigh says:

I can totally picture what your saying Dune….except that HE can’t die yet, it’s too easy! HE’s got something up his scrawny sleeve!

  26. Brenda says:

I wouldn’t morn too much for the skeleton dude. His kind always seems to “rebound”. I really like the last panel Ramón. Nice job on a difficult foreshortening task. That is always a tough point of view to get just right. (For me it is anyway.)

  27. What happens next!? I must know now! I fear I may not be able to hold out for a whole week!

  28. dj cuddlefish says:

oh I just love this girl! this entire comic is just amazing, thanks for blowing our collective minds!

  29. Jane says:

… and now a giant greenhouse falls out of the sky and flattens them both. The end!

  30. Civin says:

Sam I was thinking the same thing.. flower out of his head ;)

  31. Oh no! My Spider Jerusalem/Jeremy Irons Skeletor Guy!

Sam: brill note on the flower! I think that might be what we actually see.

Jane: hee, great ending posited. Can’t go wrong with giant greenhouses falling out of the sky.

Now I want a miniature of Skelly to put with my Sandman Desire and Poison Ivy toys. :p

  32. Doug says:

    I got a bad feeling about this…

    cool read though!

  33. Just discovered this webcomic today, its awesome, congratulations.

  34. Wicked. :)

I like that Nadia, doesn’t put up with his bullshit. Bang, indeed.

  35. Kudos on the dynamic foreshortening in the last panel, sir. Top notch!

  36. Dune Walker says:

I like how Nadia’s arm looks. The art style makes excellent use of knobby bone protrusions, which everyone has, but no one seems to draw.

Nice, stylized musculature, an excellent angling of the head and neck, and her breast looks very natural: no exageration or odd shaping. Incredibly fluid. Hard to pull off.

    ~Dune Walker~

  37. Steve says:

Did I read that comment right? Print edition! Say it’s so!

  38. Ramón says:

my goal with kuku has always been to take it into print. i see it as a series of books. the current story will end in about 40 more pages, where upon i will take a break to compose the next story.

ideally i would love to do the work through a publisher, but if that doesn’t happen i will probably go the route of print o demand, through a place like lulu.com, either way we’ll see.

ideally i’d like to have something out for next summer.

  39. Jo says:

I’m now holding my breath for the next episode…

  40. Sam says:

I would hold my breath till I can buy the book but blue is not a good color for me at all.

Please keep us your O – SO – LOYAL readers informed when you get ready to make the book..or we will do something like not read the comic on Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sunday.

  41. Brenda says:

Splenderrific. It’s my new word for the week.

  42. Doug says:

im predicting that skeli dudes head explodes with flesh

  43. thorsteinn says:

I love how the skelton guy looks like he´s from 1987. No tie and if he had chest hair it would be sticking out. And the cheesy/most awesome ever PERIOD shades are fucking cool. Can´t wait for the next comic

  44. WareWulf says:

    this is too easy… there’s a suprise

  45. trippynick says:

dude your comic is friggin TRIPPY great stuff

  46. Vlan2k says:

Why do I get the feeling it isn’t QUITE that easy?

  47. ursie says:

ohgodohgodPLEASEupdatesoon! i can’t take this anymore; the suspense’s killing me. D:

  48. Parrot says:
