ninety|six
so i originally said there would be a page up today, tomorrow and then thursday. well after a bit of rejigging and a little elbow grease this weeks return update is fully up. i had originally thought to do a 3 page update, but instead have reworked it into the standard two page one, saving the remaining sequence for next week.
now that aside, can i tell you how awesome it is to be back!?
man, have i missed kukuburi.
i feel like yammering on a bit more, but the motion of this train is making me a tad sleepy. so i’m going to chill out for the rest of the ride and talk to you all when i’m on solid ground…
cheers.

sweet!

September 9th, 2008 at 9:08 pm

September 9th, 2008 at 9:50 pm
Very cool. And I’m so excited!
September 9th, 2008 at 9:57 pm
I would have guessed Zulu was a stuffed animal from her nightmare sequence, but I just checked and didn’t see it :/
September 9th, 2008 at 10:29 pm
Zulu was in her bedroom. Welcome back Ramon. You’ve been missed!
September 9th, 2008 at 10:36 pm
Hey welcome Back Ramon, and what a comeback it is.

I enjoy how you always seem to draw/sketch your characters in motion. They’re either looking at something or doing something or looking like they’re going to do something. It makes me more of an engaged reader because I fill my head up with a past, present and future of the person/things in the drawing. Like that Superman sketch you put on your blog a long time ago. How the horizon is off center- yeah, that has been my wallpaper for quite a few months and isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. Totally phenomenal.
September 9th, 2008 at 11:29 pm
So this Zulu fellow HAS been following her ever since she woke up in her “bedroom”!
September 10th, 2008 at 1:14 am
YAY!
I don’t think it’s just my imagination that the glowing area in the last panel looks like an eye and the crag that Zulu is clinging to looks like a horn or beak.
The ragdoll in the “faux bedroom” sequence was not animated, but it also wasn’t being eaten — hmmm.. It doesn’t show in the Realtime scenes, probably because it just wasn’t in frame.

Welcome back! Missed you … well, not really you, but Kukuburi…

So, I’ve been a fan of BNS for over a year now. I found out about this comic today and I’ve already caught up. Though I still like BNS, this is simply amazing. The imagination involved here is unlike anything I’ve seen in a long time. So, keep up the great work, I can’t wait for the next installment!

Oh, and I have to put in my 10 cent guess on whats next(sorry, see so many guesses on whats next I gotta try). Kukes is no doubt causing the Re-Creation of her earlier flashback(Rocks forming face as before)and Zulu will be a new pal(its her doll! Has to be cool, not bad). Maybe some drama as she will probably rescue him(it?)instead of hi-tailing it out of there. Have seen all of the characters kukes was drawing in her flashback except the dragon. THATS what I’m waiting for. So Ramon, WILL we be seeing this dragon soon????????
Love this comic! You put it in print, I’ll be the first in line to buy it!
September 10th, 2008 at 10:33 pm
